Melbourne queens of indie-noir Kelly Day and Jane Hendry are Broads. Haunting, narcotic and deceptively sweet, their songs are laced with acerbic criticism of the culture from which they stem.

Their debut album ‘Vacancy’, feature album on both TripleRRR and PBS FM, was described by theMusic as ‘a mellifluous collection of songs utterly drenched in enticing melodies and harmonies... a simply gorgeous, often haunting, always sublime inaugural full-length outing’.

With their sophomore album looming in early 2019, Broads have developed a sound which is fiercely feminine - a strong reflection of personal and universal experiences from two powerful voices reinforced by a guitar-driven, Lynchian five-piece band.
